Imagine that Alice gave Bob a CD or DVD with a rather big file which produces read errors on Bob's machine, and that Alice have a copy of necessary files.

The CDFixer application was designed to be a tiny program to help Bob recover that unreadable file - with some assistance from Alice side, of course.

The process would be as follows:
- Bob copies the file to his HDD using cdfixer --copy and then sends errors log to Alice;
- Alice generates small binary delta using cdfixer --delta and sends it to Bob;
- Bob then patches the file using cdfixer --patch.
